Dill Dinkers™ Enters New Territory with 10-Unit Regional Franchise Development for West Central Florida
March 13, 2024 // FranchiseMarketingSolutions.com // SARASOTA, Fla. – Dill Dinkers Pickleball has announced its eleventh regional development deal with a husband-and-wife team in Sarasota who have committed to the development of 10 locations along the Gulf Coast of Florida in Sarasota and Pinellas counties including the cities of Sarasota, Bradenton, Venice, and St. Petersburg.
Introducing Dill Dinkers to pickleball players and business owners in West Central Florida are Heather and Timothy Dull, who are thrilled to share an elevated alternative to mixed-use courts in their area with Dill Dinkers dedicated state-of-the-art pickleball facilities. Made by pickleball players for pickleball players, the Dulls found there was an opportunity to introduce indoor facilities to residents in the area who were suffering with long wait times, inadequate courts, and limited ability to enjoy the sport itself.
Former equity analysts and franchisees of learning centers in Maryland, the Dulls who are avid pickleball players were familiar with Dill Dinkers flagship locations before moving to Sarasota. Noticing the lack of available and inclusive, high-quality indoor pickleball courts similar to Dill Dinkers, they were seeking a concept like it to be in their neighborhood, driving their commitment to developing the locations themselves. With people of all ages and skill levels looking for a place to play pickleball in their area, they are confident Dill Dinkers will fulfill a solution to busy unstructured outdoor courts with the facilities’ reservation system through Court Reserve and organized play where people can focus on having fun, playing safe and improving their skills with others.
“After playing at Dill Dinkers in our hometown and enjoying the professional atmosphere with our friends, it was hard for us to enjoy playing pickleball the same way at packed outdoor courts and community centers in our area,” said Heather. “After waiting for someone to introduce a concept like Dill Dinkers, we thought it was time to do it ourselves. My husband and I are thrilled to offer quality courts and structured play for both players here and business owners who are looking to take advantage of early entry to dedicated indoor facilities in a growing sport.”
“We started Dill Dinkers because of our unwavering passion for the sport and the community it has provided us,” said Co-Founder and CEO Will Richards. “We are thrilled to welcome passionate business owners like Heather and Tim who are just as dedicated to spreading the joy of pickleball. We look forward to seeing how the team extends our name in their community and how other entrepreneurs can benefit from a premier indoor pickleball offering and a strong network of support.”
