NuSpine was founded in 2013 on the belief that the chiropractic industry should (and could) be lucrative for doctors, as well as affordable and convenient for patients. Dr. Todd Hedlund launched a pilot clinic that made chiropractic adjustments and hydrotherapy services affordable through monthly membership-based options and convenient through not requiring appointments, being open on weekends and evenings and streamlining the process so visits take as little as 15 minutes. After recognizing that they’d hit some pain points for consumers and people were loving the new concept, NuSpine grew to a second location in Lincoln, NE. Since then, they’ve continued to prove the model and have found top-notch strategic partners to expand their efforts nationwide. NuSpine used the last six years to refine the systems, prove the unit economics, develop proprietary software, and build a franchise infrastructure that can support rapid growth moving forward.
