Franchise History
The original vision of Alabama portrait artist and muralist, Rebekah Bynum, Spirited Art first began as a simple night out for a dozen ladies in the back of a friends office in 2007. It soon evolved into an art class for 40 students at a local museum, and within a couple of years found its own full-time studio space in Bynums hometown of Huntsville. Several more locations in a number of states later each met with rave reviews and great success it soon became clear that Spirited Art would make a viable franchise concept. Disproving the age-old stereotype of the starving artist, Spirited Art began franchising in 2013.
