Franchise History
Launched in Huntsville, Alabama in 2003, Spoiled Rotten Photography is the brainchild of professional photographer and mother of two, Melissa Tash. Her previous roles in the U.S. Army, as Industrial Engineer for Nike, and as Payload Crew Trainer for NASAs International Space Station program have taught Tash a thing or two about the power of capable leadership, the value of customer feedback, and the importance of training to the success of any business or mission. She successfully married her custom photography passion to an overwhelming need for quality school portraits to create a truly unique, highly lucrative business model so lucrative, in fact, that she quickly surpassed her NASA paycheck and was able to turn her attention to growing Spoiled Rotten full-time while raising a family. In 2013, Tash made the wise choice to franchise her company.
Spoiled Rotten is a locally-based-and-built business. Its the perfect concept to bring into a community and foster from the ground up using a foolproof system Tash and her team have had the pleasure of solidifying over the past decade.
