Sweet Arleen’s bakery opened its doors on November 30th 2009, offering a selection of boutiquePcomfort treats. Located in Westlake Village, California on the corner of Westlake Boulevard and Townsgate, Sweet Arleen’s delicious cupcakes, cakes and bread puddings uses only the highest quality ingredients, creating memorable treats that have been thoughtfully prepared by a team of culinary professionals. Three months into their inaugural year, Sweet Arleen’s was invited to be on Food Network’s Cupcake Wars. With their arsenal of fresh ingredients including seasonal fruits, Belgian chocolates and harvest seasonings, the Sweet Arleen’s team left the studio kitchen victorious. The “sweet” success propelled them to superstar status and weeks after the episode aired, the bakery sold out their entire stock of baked goods by 4 p.m. Sweet Arleen’s TV appearances have remained consistent since Arleen returned to Cupcake Wars in 2011 to defend their title and win the Battle of the Champions episode. In addition to providing treats to satisfy the sweet and savory desires of the community, Sweet Arleen’s also enjoys giving back to the community at large and participates in sponsorships with many local organizations. These include: Boys & Girls Club, Relay for Life, Bark for Life, American Cancer Society, Pancreatic Cancer Research, Many Mansions, the Wellness Center, and more.
